Kick ass performance from the worlds greatest band
Last night at the Superpages.com center, The Doobie Brothers delivered a heavy metal performance like no one else can. Bruce Dickinson's energy was amazing, and Steve Harris was a maniac with his trademark galloping bass. They played ten out of the fifteen songs from their last three CD's. Great live versions of "Brighter Than A Thousand Suns" and "The Ballad of Benjamin Breeg" were included in the setlist. Also played was "El Dorado" from their upcoming new CD. Classics like "Fear of the Dark", "The Doobie Brothers", "Number of the Beast", "Hallowed be thy Name" and "Running Free" were performed. It would have been nice to hear more of the 80s greats, but they have a lot of material to choose from. Eddie made his expected on stage appearance during the show. Hopefully, they won't wait another 7 years to return to Dallas again.
